The Satpuda Thermal Power Project (STPP), Sarni’s 250 MW Unit-11 created a new record of continuous power generation for 200 days. Unit-l1 is functional since October 30, 2021 till date and registered 91.9 per cent Plant Load Factor (PLF), 100.71 percent Plant Availability Factor (PAF), 7.9 per cent Auxiliary Consumption, 0.63-kg percent Specific Coal Consumption and 0.02 ML Specific Oil Consumption.
It may be noted that Satpura TPS, Sarni’s Unit-11 of 250 MW was synchronised on March 16, 2014.
Madhya Pradesh State Energy Minister, Pradumn Singh Tomar, Principal Secretary (Energy), Sanjay Dubey and Madhya Pradesh Power Generating Company, Managing Director, Manjeet Singh have applauded the best management practices being implemented by the engineers and employees for uninterrupted functioning of Unit-11 at Satpura TPS and encouraged them for creating new records of quality power generation in future.
