For the first time scorching heat waves would say good bye to Madhya Pradesh before Nautapa beginning from May 25. IMD Bhopal said that in next 24 hours, pre-monsoon shower will begin in 12 districts of the State. There will be rusty winds with drizzling in a few areas. Indore will be receiving light rains till May 24. Weather Department said that western disturbance is becoming active in the State that will decline the temperature.
From Monday (May 23), pre-monsoon shower will begin in MP and maximum temperature will be settled below 45 degree Celsius. Weather Department said that monsoon will be arriving in Madhya Pradesh from May 13 to 15. This year Indore-Ujjain, Bhopal, Narmadapuram, Gwalior, Chambal and Jabalpur will be receiving good rainfall. On Sunday, nominal rain was recorded in a few areas. Umaria recorded 3.2 mm of rain, Malajkhand recorded 1.6 mm, Guna trace, and Satna trace.
Highest day temperature was recorded as 44.6 degree Celsius in Sidhi. Weather Department has released warning of rain, lightning and thundering in Rewa, Sagar, Chambal, Jabalpur, Katni, Umaria, Balaghat, Anuppur, Shahdol, Gwalior, Datia and Shivpuri districts on May 23.
Tempertaure will decline by 3 to 4 degrees on May 24 and 25. Maximum and minimum temperature in Bhopal will be recorded around 40 degree Celsius and 27 degree Celsius on Monday.
The Weather Department said that a cyclone has been formed in Bay of Bengal due to which monsoon is becoming active. Andaman and Nicobar has received monsoon before time. Bay of Bengal and Arabian Sea is also receiving moisturised air.
