Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that all the preparations related to the President’s visit should be completed next week. Finalise the nature of programmes suited to the dignity of the President. Chief Minister Chouhan reviewed the preparations related to President Ram Nath Kovind’s stay in Madhya Pradesh on May 28 and 29 by holding a meeting at Mantralaya. It was told in the meeting that the President is proposed to visit Bhopal on May 27. He will perform bhoomipujan of new health institutions in a programme in the State capital. President Kovind will travel from Bhopal to Ujjain on the morning of May 29, where he will address the participants of All India Ayurveda Conference at Kalidas Academy. Along with this, he will also have darshan in the Mahakal temple. The President will visit Indore in the afternoon and from there will depart to New Delhi by plane.
Chief Minister Chouhan received information about the venue of Ayurveda convention in Ujjain, meeting arrangements for guests and invited representatives, drinking water and other arrangements including transport. Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains, Additional Chief Secretary (Home) Dr Rajesh Rajoura, Additional Chief Secretary (Health) Mohammad Suleman, Director General of Police Sudhir Kumar Saxena and senior officers were present.
