Lordganj police have solved the blind murder mystery of a man and nabbed two accused in the case. The man was killed for betraying his two accomplices by not paying their bail amount. The arrested have been identified as Siddharth Shrivastava (20), son of Prakash Shrivastava and Gaurav Patel, son of Raju Patel, a resident of Yadav Colony.
Superintendent of Police, Siddharth Bahuguna (IPS) informed this while addressing a press conference, on Tuesday.
SP, Bahuguna informed that on May 16, 2022, police received information about finding the body of a man in pool of blood at his house situated at Shrinath Ki Tallaiyya area. Police reached the spot and learnt that Jaideep Singh alias Bacchu Rathore (42), son of late Surendra Singh Rathore was killed after being stabbed with sharp edged weapon.
In further investigation, a man named Rakesh alias Rambal Vishwakarma (45), resident of Shrinath Ki Tallaiyya informed that he is working at vehicle parking stand. On May 16, he returned after attending Congress Party programme at Civic Centre when his brother Ajay Vishwakarma phoned him and immediately called at residence of their aunty. He reached the spot and found that son of his aunty Jaideep Singh Rathore was killed in his room.
Lordganj police had registered a case under Sections 302 and 450 of IPC. Police team led by SHO, Lordganj, Prafull Shrivastava learnt that deceased was trading in share and gold and his wife and son lived in Chhindwara and his mother went at Allahabad and he was alone at home. Investigating the case, police received information about two suspects named Siddharth Shrivastava and Gaurav Patel and nabbed them when they were walking along with rail track near Kacchpura Bridge.
In the interrogation, accused confessed the killing of Jaideep. One of the accused, Siddharth Shrivastava disclosed that he along with Jaideep and Ajju alias Ajay Vishwakarma were sentenced 10 years imprisonment, financial penalty of Rs. 5,000 in a case of attempting murder and one year imprisonment and penalty of Rs 1000 under Section 25 of Arms Act in Madhav Nagar, Katni. Jaideep was released on bail and assured them for helping them in payment of their bail of Rs. 25,000 but he failed in doing the same. After 18-months, Ajju Vishwakarma was released on bail but Siddharth was imprisoned from April 30, 2017 to October 2021. Annoyed with the betraying by his friend, Siddharth along with his friend Gaurav Patel, a resident of Yadav Colony reached at residence of Jaideep on May 15 and attacked him with baseball bat and killed him by stabbing with a knife. Police have presented the accused before the court and trying to take their remand for recovery of weapons and their clothes.
