FRESH from her AITA title victory at Pune, Sejal Bhutada continued her momentum in the tennis event of Khasdar Krida Mahotsav Season 4 at Ram Nagar courts.
Sejal moved into the quarter-finals of Under-16 and open categories.
In the Under-16 singles event, Sejal crushed Sharvya Rambhajani 6-0 to move into the quarter-finals. In another prequarter-finals of the same category, Surmayee Sathe defeated Aashvi Khemka 6-2 while Ridhima Shaw blanked Nainika Sarda 6-0. Mishka Tayade made light work of Devashree D 6-0 and Anushka Budhraja edged out Rishika Sarda 6-3 while Vanshika Jhwar had an easy outing against Mani Kuari to win the match 6-0.
In the open category, Sachin Patil defeated Ganesh Bagde
6-2, Sejal Bhutada beat Sudhir Parteki 6-2. Soham Jane fought out hard to beat Rohan Khune 6-5. Pankaj Bendre beat
Om Dhok 6-2 and Kashit Nagrale ousted Akshat Dakshindas 6-1.
