Bank of Baroda honoured Padma Shri Malini Awasthi with ‘Maharaja Sayajirao Lokbhasha Samman’ in the name of founder Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad-III. Noted folk singer, Malini Awasthi was honoured for publicity of Indian regional languages through her folk singing.

On the occasion, Bank of Baroda, Executive Director, Ajay K Khurana conferred the ‘Maharaja Sayajirao Lokbhasha Samman’ award to Padmashree Malini Awasthi.

It may be noted that Bank of Baroda honoured the persons for publicity of regional landuages every year. In this series, Padmashree Malini Awasthi was honoured with the award for the year 2020-21.
