After becoming the Mayor of the city, Jagat Bahadur Singh ‘Annu’ took out a grand rally to extend gratitude to the citizens, on Tuesday. He, along with all senior party leaders and workers, carried out the rally from Bandari crossing to Ranjhi Bada Pathhar.
Congress leaders, workers and citizens welcomed the new Mayor at a number of places on the rally route. Congressmen placed stages at all crossings and squares to welcome the new Mayor.
On the occasion, Jagat Bahadur Singh extended thankfulness to the Jabalpurians for their love, support and blessings in the recently held elections. Annu said he is vowed to fulfill each and every promise he made to the people of Jabalpur during election campaigning. He said Congress ruling party in Jabalpur Municipal Corporation would take all needed decisions for overall development of the city and would implement development proposals on ground.
Annu reiterated that he would leave no stone unturned to make Jabalpur the most beautiful and developed city of Madhya Pradesh. He said the inflow of dirty water of all nullahs into river Narmada would be stopped.
Annu took out the “thanks-giving” rally from Bandaria Tiraha to Bada Patthar via Chhoti Line, Gorakhpur, Katanga, Railway fourth bridge, Rajiv Gandhi chowk, Teen Patti, Kamania, Kotwali, Gohalpur, Raddi Chowki, Madar Tekri, Ghamapur Chowk, Kanchghar, Panhera, Gokalpur, Darshan Tiraha and Mastana Chowk.
Congress MLA, Tarun Bhanot, MLA Vijay Saxena along with hundreds of party leaders and workers participated in the rally.
