Three villagers died in Madiyaraas village due to diarrhoea while six others are undergoing treatment at the District Hospital. However the Health Department has claimed that only one person died due to diarrhoea
Villagers claimed that many more villagers are suffering from diarrhoea. They also claimed that diarrhoea has spread in village due to contaminated water.
Health Department officials initially did not have any information about villagers suffering with diarrhoea. In the last three days, three villagers have died. Villagers reached District Hospital and complained about diarrhoea spreading in their village. Then DPM Vikram Singh immediately dispatched a team for treatnent of villagers.
Villagers informed that 52-year-old Rajkumar Thakur was admitted in District Hospital after his condition deteriorated in village. Then Rukmini (24), Sunita (25), Saroj Bai (26) and Ramkali Bai (42), were also admitted in District Hospital . The deceased villagers who died due to diarrhoea include Kallu Singh, Ramesh Singh and Pohula Bai.
A health team has reached village and has started examining the patients suffering from diarrhoea. The PHE Department team has collected samples of water which was being used by the villagers.
However DPM Vikram Singh confirmed the death of only one villager due to diarrhoea and two other villagers died due to other illnesses. The health team, after examining patients, is giving treatment and medications to the affected ones.
