MPTransco’s Green Energy Corridor complete

Energy Minister Pradyuman Singh Tomar has informed that Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company has completed the final work of the project funded by KFW Bank of Germany last day. It has 400 kV. Ashta-Ujjain double circuit line has been energised.
Power Minister Tomar informed that Madhya Pradesh was also selected among a few states to set up a green energy corridor for seamless transmission of electricity generated from non-conventional energy sources throughout the country. Out of total project Rs 2,100 crore loan of Rs 840 crore was sanctioned by German bank KFW. Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company has completed these works even before the set target. Continuous monitoring of this project was also being done by the Prime Minister’s Office. Superintending Engineer of Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company, Engg. M M Dhoke said that under this scheme 400 KVs would be constructed in the state. K three sub-stations, 220 KV K Seven sub-stations, 400 kV of 5 double circuit lines, 220 kV. of 15 double circuit lines and 132 kV. A total of 2773 circuit kilometres of ultra high pressure lines of 26 double circuits were constructed. 400 KV under this scheme. of 1890 MVA Capacity, 220 KV 2400 MVA in capacity and 132 KV 498 MVA in Total 4788 MVA Additional transformation capacity has been added to the transmission network of Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company. Under the Green Energy Corridor Scheme, Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company has constructed 400 KV stations in Sagar, Ujjain and Mandsaur. 220 KV sub-stations at Sendhwa, Kanwan, Javra, Sailana, Gurgaon, Ratangarh and Nalkheda. K sub-station and 132 KV. Two additional transformers have been installed and energised.
