“Nanaji Deshmukh Veterinary Science University (NDVSU) would organise the 5th annual convention of National Academy of Veterinary Nutrition and Animal Welfare and national conference on ‘Co-ordinated Nutrition, Health and Extension Approach for Sustainable Livestock Production’, on September 21 and 22. The mega event would be organised to mark ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ and platinum jubilee year celebration of the College of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry Jabalpur,” informed Dr Sita Prasad Tiwari, Vice-Chancellor, NDVSU, while addressing a press conference, on Tuesday.
VC Dr S P Tiwari informed that the convention and seminar would be organised with an aim to increase productivity of animal by improving fodder quality, their conservation and protecting them from diseases. The university is toiling hard to provide its utmost benefits to the farmers for better caring of their livestock and improving its productivity through best implementation of research and increasing the income of farmers. During the two-day conference, 250 participants include professors, assistant professors, scientists, research scholars, post-graduation student representing different institutions in the country will participate. In the 5th conclave and national conference, six prizes will be awarded. Veterinary College Dean, Dr R K Sharma, Organising Secretary, Dr Sunil Nayak, Dr Shobha Jawre and PRO, Dr Sona Dubey were present.
