Members of the Hindu Seva Parishad (HSP) handed over a memorandum addressed to the Prime Minister in support of Telangana MLA, Tiger Raja Singh and demanded his release from jail, on Wednesday.
HSP State President, Atul Jeswani informed that through the memorandum, they have raised demand for releasing MLA Tiger Raja Singh from jail, providing him armed security and taking stern action against persons involved in threatening him with life.
Jeswani informed that a month back, the Telangana Government had charged Goshmahal MLA, Tiger Raja Singh for making objectionable statement and lodged a case against him. Thereafter, MLA Tiger Raja Singh was released on bail from the court but following the political interest of Telangana Government and caste-based appeasement policy, the Government has again arrested MLA Tiger Raja under preventive detention.
Nation-wide protests are being carried out against the Telangana Government. In the series, Hindu Seva Parishad members handed over a memorandum to the District Collector addressed to to Narendra Modi for providing security to MLA Tiger Raja Singh and ensuring action against persons involved in threatening him with life.
On the occasion, State President, Atul Jeswani, Saurabh Jain, Manoj Tiwari, Nitin Sonpali, Umesh Rajak and others were present.
