Maheep Gupta, Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forest (APCCF) and Director of Chandrapur Forest Academy of Administration Development and Management, has been appointed as new Principal Chief Conservator of Forest (Wildlife) of Maharashtra, on Thursday.
An IFS officer of 1990 batch, Maheep Gupta was also the MD of Maharashtra Ecotourism Development Board. Gupta will succeed Sunil Limaye as PCCF (Wildlife). Similarly, Vikas Gupta, PCCF (Personnel) has been appointed as new Managing Director (MD) of Forest Development Corporation of Maharashtra (FDCM). He has been appointed on the post post retirement of former MD of FDCM, K P Singh.
Shomita Biswas, who is Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forest (Conservation) and also has the additional charge of APCCF (NTFP), has been promoted as PCCF (Personnel). Biswas is an IFS officer of 1988 batch.
M Srinivasa Reddy has been promoted as Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forest (Research, Education and Training) and also as Director of Chandrapur Forest Academy of Administration Development and Management at the placer of new PCCF (Wildlife).
P Kalyan Kumar, APCCF (Information Technology and Policy) will hold additional charge of the vacant post of APCCF (Conservation). He also holds additional charge of APCCF (Production and Management).
