BHAVAN’S Bhagwandas Purohit Vidya Mandir, Ashti felicitated four meritorious sportspersons while celebrating National Sports Day to commemorate wizard of hockey Major Dhyan Chand’s birth anniversary on school premises.

The students brought laurels to the school by participating and performing excellently at State and National-Level events.

The students were Kulveer Reddy (selected for 2nd Hockey India Junior Men’s Academy National Championship 2022 at Jamshedpur), Swara Gandhi (participated at State and National-Level Chess FIDE Rating Tournaments in Under-7 category and bagged 1st place in these tournaments), Vansh Sakalle (selected for State-Level U-17 Cricket Competition organised by District Sports Office) and Shivanya Dhariwal (bagged three gold medals in India Roller Skating Championship in U-8 category).

On the occasion, Esther Niroj Kujur, a national hockey player was present as the chief guest along with guest of honour Shree Jamdar, Parent Representative Bhavan’s, Ashti. Principal Vandana Bisen applauded and congratulated the successful students for their glorious achievements.
