On the fourth day of ongoing indefinite strike of Lab Technicians, members of Lab Technician Association handed over a 13-points memorandum to MLA Ajay Vishnoi on Monday. Lab technicians presented their 13 points memorandum and received the assurance of making the Chief Minister aware about their demands.
Owing to this indefinite strike, the Pathology tests and blood bank services are completely affected and the patience kept wandering. Along with this, services in district hospitals including Civil Hospital Ranjhi, Civil Hospital Elgin, CSC Primary health Centre, urban Health Centre were badly affected. This has also made the patients suffer a lot.
On the other hand, the Government or administration didn’t give any response on this issue, which has led this protest into more rage. In this protest, technicians from across the State participated.
Lab Tech Association State Vice President K.K. Verma informed that on strike owing to the negligence of administration towards them, the Lab Technicians of Madhya Pradesh are on the strike for the first time in history.
The Association has appealed the administration and Government to consider their demands and fulfill them as soon as possible; otherwise the general public will keep facing troubles for their treatment.
Those present include District President G.P. Sen, Mukesh Mishra, Sharad Mishra, Kalpana Arjariya, Rajesh Koshta, Indra Kumar Sahu, Neelima Victor, Satya Prakash and others.
