Tamhankar wins medals in Mah State Mini Olympics

Kasturi Tamhankar, daughter of Dinesh and Ambika Tamhankar, won one gold and a silver medal in the Maharashtra State Mini Olympics at Pune.
Tamhankar won gold in 10,000 metres Point to Point Track Elimination Race and silver in 1,000 metres Inline Speed Skating Championship. Tamhankar is an MBA 1st year student of City Premier College.
Four skaters from city participated in the Mini Olympic Games namely Tamhankar, Janhvi Kadu, Yashraj Anandpawar and Akhil Gaigowal. Skating Association of Maharashtra (SAM) had appointed Dr Upendra Varma as the manager and technical official of the Games.
