Following decades old tradition, Shardiya Navratra will be celebrated with pujan of Maa Jagdamba Shree Badi Khermai Mata with Vedic rituals from October 15. Special mahaarti of Matarani will be organised on Saptami, Ashtami and Navmi of Navratra. The temple premises will be attractively decorated with colourful lighting and flowers to welcome all the nine forms of Mata Rani. As the temple premise is jampacked with the devotees especially women, hence apart from safety arrangement to be made by Police Department, the temple trust will deploy 600 volunteers in the premise.
 
A total of 101 Deep Kalash will be installed by the devotees to fulfill their wishes in the temple premise. Along with those who reside in different States across the country, devotees from America, Australia, Switzerland and Britain will also attend the festival here, informed Sharad Agrawal, Executive President. Agrawal was addressing a press conference on Friday to inform about different arrangements made in the premise of Shree Badi Kher Mai Mandir by the Mandir Trust for upcoming Navratra. Agrawal added that the Jawara Visarjan Chal Samaroh which is consecutively taken out from the temple premise since 1652, will enter in its 371st year. The Jwara Visarjan will be taken out in a grand festive manner on October 26, 2023 which will culminate at Hanumantal. The temple trust has planned to build a huge corridor at the temple premise where Shastra Pujan will be held in traditional manner on the occasion of Vijaydashmi from 12.00 noon. Secretary, Temple Trust, Shashikant Mishra and Vice-president, Anil Pal were also present.
