A minor was stabbed to death while his friends sustained injuries in a group clash in Bagsewania area, said police on Saturday. The deceased Shubham Singh (17), was a student of high school, said police. He had gone to AIIMS for having a tea with two of his friends on Friday night. The accused, Arun and Jambu along with two minors were also present at the stall. The accused and victims are residents of Amrai Parisar, said police. The accused and victims entered into a verbal spat at the stall. Later, when the victims Singh along with his friends Vaibhav and Aditya were returning, home the accused waylaid the trio.

 

The accused were four in number while the victims were three, said police. They started assaulting the victims and three of the accused including Arun, Jambu and a minor attacked them with knives. The victims sustained stab wounds all around their bodies. The deceased Shubham had sustained wounds on his abdomen and was bleeding profusely, said a cop. SHO Amit Soni said that the incident occurred around 11:30 pm near Dhanvantari Colony. The victims were taken to hospital by their friends.

 

One of the injured youths called his friends and they had reached the scene. The accused fled the scene by then, said the cop. The trio was taken to AIIMS hospital where Shubham was declared dead around 2:30 am. The two of his friends are unable to record their statements for their critical condition, said the SHO. The accused have been booked for the murder and one minor is taken into custody, the SHO further added. The accused are on the run police have handed over the body to relatives after the post-mortem. A search is on to nab the absconding accused, added the cop.
