BJP’s ‘Shakti Sammelan’ kick starts

 

 

 

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has kicked off the three-day ‘Shakti Sammelan’ at 1200 Shakti Kendras across the

State, on Tuesday. In Jabalpur rural, Union Minister of State for Food Processing Industry, Prahlad Singh Patel administered oath of booth victory to party workers during the programme in Bargi and Patan Assembly. In Patan Assembly constituency, while addressing the Sammelan, Patel said Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the prime symbol of women's respect in the country. He said a pledge needs to be taken to strengthen his hands by presenting the achievements and benefits of government plans to people.

 

Patel said neither Prime Minister Modi nor Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has ever designed a plan that is not centered around women. He highlighted initiatives like providing toilets in every household, which is more than just a convenience but also a matter of respect for women. Earlier, women had to wander in search of water in the morning; now, water comes to their homes. The Union Minister of State also discussed how people living under thatched roofs can now afford to live under concrete roofs. He said the BJP Government is the first to allocate funds for farmers’ welfare. He appealed to the party workers to unite in support of Ajay Vishnoi, BJP candidate from Patan constituency and work together for party’s victory.

 

While addressing a huge gathering during Shakti Sammelan in Bargi, Patel termed Neeraj Singh, BJP candidate from Bargi Assembly constituency, as a strong leader for the youth. He said Neeraj would bring progress and adapt to new technologies and it is essential for the youth to support and endorse the changes. He also highlighted BJP’s non-caste-based politics and accused the Congress Party of pretending to be champions of backward communities. He called on the party workers to expose the corruption of Congress and present the facts to the public.
