Under scanner Man posing as Armyman to impress kin arrested

 

 

 

 

Military Intelligence personnel arrested a suspected man dressed in Army Combat Uniform while wandering in Sadar Market under the jurisdiction of Cantt police station. Military personnel found 5 ATM cards, 4 Aadhar cards, 2 PAN cards from the suspected man identified as Osee Sahab. After verification of documents, the suspected man was handed over to Cantt Police for further investigation.

 

Thereafter, different investigation agencies interrogated the suspect and learnt that all the documents and cards found with the fake Armyman were genuine and he is a resident of Kaimoor in Bihar. During interrogation, the fraudster disclosed that he along with his wife and sister-in-law reached Jabalpur on September 28 and were staying at a rented room in Naya Mohalla area. He attired as an Armyman just to show off his family members and relatives in Bihar that he was recruited in the Army and posted in Jabalpur. Cantt police have registered a case while further investigations are underway to ascertain the involvement of apprehended man in any suspicious activities.
