Pagariya Group, a well-diversified conglomerate with holdings in various sectors, on Monday forayed into the FMCG sector with the launch of its new brand Swaaditi. The city-based company launched a large portfolio consisting of 41 products in 6 different categories including powder spices, cooking paste, hing and salt, whole spices, blends – innovative and blends – traditional Indian. Addressing a press conference on Monday, Chairman of the Pagariya Group Ujjwal Pagaria said, “It takes skill to choose the appropriate spices. And, here at Swaaditi, we promise you’ll notice the artistry in the flavour of every ground spice. Our genuine enthusiasm for fine cuisine drives our commitment to provide only the finest and freshest spices.
 
Our spices are hand-picked from the best farms in India and are consistently grown in compliance with the highest sustainability and social responsibility standards.” The company having its factory in the outskirts of the city at Kapsi hand-picks and combines the spices in small batches to ensure the highest quality flavour and aroma of every product. “The professionals in our team are committed to developing new combinations to satisfy a wide range of taste buds. Our spices are intended to inspire culinary creativity in users of all skill levels,” he added. The group has presence in agri-commodity exports, hospitality, healthcare (New Era Hospital), building and infrastructure development, manufacturing of safety gears and retail. The Pagariya Group’s illustrious past dates back to the 1950s, when it began trading in textiles.
 
In the 1980s, the family began to engage in wholesale trading and supply of food grains and other commodities. The group’s agri-commodities division exports rice and other commodities to over sixty nations. The group has aggressive plans to develop in the FMCG industry and establish its brand named ‘Swaaditi' in multiple states. Its hospitality arm is simultaneously scaling up and extending a chain of vegetarian quick-service restaurants called ‘Panino’, which already has a presence in Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh. The organisation’s Retail Division has recently formed a joint venture to promote the Brand ‘Futura’, which specializes in architectural and technical lighting and has studios and dealer network across India.
