City-based Western Coalfields Limited (WCL) commenced Vigilance Awareness Week - 2023 on Monday. The awareness programme will be observed at WCL Headquarters till November 5. On the occasion chief guest of the function CMD of WCL Manoj Kumar administered the integrity pledge to the employees in presence of Director (Technical and Personnel) J P Dwivedi; Director Technical (Planning and Project) A K Singh and Chief Vigilance Officer Ajay Madhukar Mhetre. Kumar in his address said that honesty is an integral part of Indian culture and one can move forward only by adopting its principles.

 

Mhetre spoke about various programmes organised to mark the Vigilance Awareness Week. The message received from President Droupadi Murmu; Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar and Central Vigilance Commission were read by General Managers - Deepak Revatkar, M K Baluka and S K Batra. Anupama Tembhurnikar, Senior Manager (Personnel) conducted the proceedings and also proposed the formal vote of thanks.
