“We have created such a trinity of Jandhan, Aadhaar and Digitalisation which has dismantled corrupt system of the Congress. Today, money of poor is being used for benefit of poor only. I will not allow the money of poor to be looted, nor will I allow the coffers of Congress leaders to be filled,” asserted Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressing a huge gathering at an event to mark 500th birth centenary of Queen of Gondwana kingdom, Rani Durgavati at Garrison Ground in Jabalpur on Thursday. PM Modi further stated that BJP’s double-engine Government prioritises welfare of poor and needy. Through Jandhan Yojana and other initiatives, the Government has empowered tribal communities and given them the respect they deserve.
He added that for decades after Independence, the parties in power were busy glorifying one family, not the nation. Development of India was not the sole achievement of one family or a party. Those who ruled the country for years did not recognise the contribution of tribal communities. He said that the BJP has the privilege of giving first tribal President to the country. Taking on Opposition, PM Modi said that while the world is praising India, some political parties have lost their way and can only see power. They have stooped to a level of insulting our nation. They make a mockery of our efforts towards Digital India and raised questions about our vaccine drive. Modi said that present time is very crucial for Madhya Pradesh. There is need of taking the right decision. Emphasising upon the need to maintain the momentum of development in Madhya Pradesh, ensured that no obstacles will let hinder progress of the State.
