Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan welcomed the talented players of Madhya Pradesh Shooting Academy, Bhopal, Aishwarya Pratap Singh Tomar and Ashi Chouksey, who won a series of medals in the Asian Games, at the Chief Minister’s residence Samatva Bhawan before the Cabinet meeting. Chief Minister Chouhan said that the performance of both the players is a matter of pride for Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Chouhan honoured him with shawl and bouquet. All the members of the Cabinet congratulated both the players on their achievement and wished them good luck for their bright future.
 
Notably, in the 19th Asian Games, Hangzhou, China, during September 23 to October 8, Aishwarya Pratap Singh Tomar of Madhya Pradesh State Shooting Academy, Bhopal, won 2 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze medals in the rifle discipline. Aishwarya also made a world record in 10 meter air rifle. Aashi Chouksey won 2 silver and 1 bronze medals in the rifle category, thus earning a total of 3 medals. Both the players described the contribution of Madhya Pradesh Government as important in their success and inspired the youth of the state to strive towards their goals with hard work and dedication.
