MSME-DFO Nagpur and Western Coalfields Ltd (WCL) are conducting Vendor Development Programme at WCL HQ at Civil Lines. The two-day event was inaugurated at the hands of Manoj Kumar, CMD WCL Nagpur; P M Parlewar, Director MSME DFO Nagpur and Dr V R Shirsat on Monday. Rashmi Kulkarni, President of VIA LEW; and Gapal Wasnik, President of DICCI were also present.

 

The main objective of the programme is to create common platform for WCL / GeM as buyers and MSEs as sellers.

As per Public Procurement Policy is it mandatory for CPSUs to procure minimum 25 pc of their annual procurement from MSEs out of which 4 pc earmarked from SC/ST entrepreneurs and 3 pc by women entrepreneurs.
