Out of 20.87 lakh voters, only 13.91 lakh people appeared at polling booths to cast their votes for their candidates contesting for the seven seats of Bhopal. Voting percentage remained as 66.66%. There were 2,049 polling booths in the city but 469 booths (23%) recorded below 60% polling. Only 16 polling booths recorded 90% to 97% voting. Besides, 1,588 polling booths of city recorded 60% to 80% voting. Highest voting percentage was recorded in Berasia where all polling booths recorded above 60% voting. There are 5 polling booths in Berasia where above 90% voting was recorded. Huzur remained on second place where 348 polling booths were assigned. Out of this, 10 polling booths received above 90% and 312 booths received above 60% voting.
 
Only 46 polling booths recorded below 60% voting. In Dakshin-Paschim there were 235 booths in which 119 booths recorded below 60 % voting. Lowest voting booth of the city was 17 no polling booth situated in Nehru Nagar where only 26% people reached to cast their vote. If we talk about the Madhya Pradesh, polling percentage remained as 76.22%. There are only two booths in State having 100 percent voting. The two polling booths in rural constituencies of Hatpipliya in district Dewas recorded 100% voter and created example for the society. This year State has recorded highest voters in last 66 years in the single polls to 230 Assembly seats.
 
According to EC, in race of highest voting, Seoni recorded 85.68% voter turnout followed by Balaghat 85.23%, Agar 85.03%, Shajapur and Rajgarh 84.99% and 84.29% respectively. Interestingly, Sonewani polling station in Naxal-hit Balaghat district which was categorised as Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs) recorded 100% voting. There were total 42 voters, including 26 male and 16 female, and they were brought together escorting with tight security by central forces at the pooling booth.
