Union Home Minister Amit Shah revealed the election manifesto of the BJP on Friday at the BJP office Kushabhao Thakre parisar titled ‘Modi Ki Guarantee’ which is replete with a plethora of freebies and public welfare initiatives.
The manifesto of the BJP was released under the tagline ‘BJP ne Banaya hai, BJP hi Savaregi’ has touched upon crucial issues such as agriculture, healthcare, education, women’s welfare, and the extension of several central government schemes, all tailored to address the needs of the upcoming election. The top-20 biggest promises in the manifesto include Krish Unnati Yojana, under which Shah promised that the BJP Government will launch ‘Krishak Unnati Yojana’ under which: 21 quintals of paddy per acre will be purchased for Rs 3,100. Full payment of farmers’ money is ensured in one installment without long queues. To do this, cash withdrawal counters of banks will be established in every Panchayat building. Availability of gunny bags will be ensured even before purchase of paddy in State. Under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, the BJP Government will provide annual financial assistance of Rs 12,000 annually to every married woman in State.
 
The BJP manifesto also promises timely and transparent recruitment of 1 lakh vacant government posts in State. 18 lakh Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana houses and supply of clean water in every house. If elected to power the BJP government in the very first ‘Cabinet meeting’, will allocate funds to complete the construction of 18 lakh houses pending under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and provide drinking water to every house in Chhattisgarh within 2 years. The BJP manifesto promises to pay at Rs 5,500 per standard bag to tendu leaves collectors in the state. Collection will be increased from existing days to 15 days. Apart from this, collectors will be given a bonus of up to Rs 4,500. Charan Paduka and other facilities will be reintroduced again by the BJP government. The BJP has promised to start the ‘Deendayal Upadhyay Krishi Majdoor Kalyan Yojana’ and provide financial assistance of Rs 10,000 every year to every landless agricultural labourer. Under Ayushman Bharat - Swasthya Chhattisgarh Yojana, the BJP manifesto promises to provide health insurance from Rs 5 lakh to Rs 10 lakh per family by doubling the annual limit under Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (Ayushman Bharat) and will provide affordable medicines by ensuring 500 new Jan Aushadhi Centers in State.
 
The BJP in its manifesto has announced that it will bring transparency in competitive examinations like CGPSC, get the CGPSC scam investigated and streamline the process of all major examinations along the lines of UPSC. Under the Chhattisgarh Udyam Kranti Yojana, the BJP has promised to provide interest-free loans with 50 per cent subsidy to the youth in the state. The manifesto also speaks of the plans to develop a State Capital Region (SCR), under which they will ensure coordinated and balanced development of Raipur, Naya Raipur, Durg and Bhilai Nagar region by establishing State Capital Region (SCR) on the lines of the National Capital Region, Delhi (NCR). An Innovation Hub will be developed, under which the party has promised to create 6 lakh employment opportunities in the state by making Naya Raipur the innovation hub of Central India. The BJP has also announced to start the ‘Rani Durgavati Yojana’ in the state and issue an assurance certificate of Rs 1,50,000 on the birth of girls belonging to the BPL category. The BJP has promised to provide gas cylinders to women from poor families for Rs 500. The manifesto also promises to provide monthly travel allowance to students for commuting to college through Direct Benefit Transfer. Under the anti-corruption zero-tolerance policy, if BJP comes to power an Chhattisgarh Anti Corruption Commission will be set up. A web portal will be created for redressal and monitoring of corruption complaints. A cell will also be formed in the Chief Minister’s office for direct action.
 
The BJP Manifesto promises Chhattisgarh Institute of Medical Sciences (CIMS) on the lines of AIIMS in every division of Chhattisgarh and to create Chhattisgarh Institute of Technology (CIT) in every Lok Sabha constituency on the lines of IIT. The BJP manifesto says that the BJP government will organise Invest Chhattisgarh on the lines of Invest India and will invite investment from domestic and foreign companies by holding an annual global-level conference. Under Sarkar Tunhar Dwar scheme in the state, the BJP government will ensure effective home delivery of public services by recruiting 1.5 lakh unemployed people at Gram Panchayat and Ward level. By starting a 1,000 km long ‘Shakti Peeth Project’ in the state, the BJP government will work to develop and connect the five Shakti Peeths of Chhattisgarh on the lines of the Char Dham Project of Uttarakhand. The manifesto also promises to take the people of the state to Ayodhya to have darshan of Shri Ram Lalla. Amit Shah assured that once the BJP assumes power in Chhattisgarh, five years of development will ensue.
