Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan conducted whirlwind tour to a number of areas under all four Assembly constituencies of the city, on Friday. He did election campaigning in favour of BJP candidates from all four Assembly seats of the city, late on Friday night. The Chief Minister started campaigning from Cantt Assembly and concluded it in West Assembly. Later, he also addressed a public meeting. During campaigning, Chouhan sought people’s blessings and support in favour of party candidates including Ashok Rohani from Cantt. Assembly, Anchal Sonkar from East Assembly, Abhilash Pandey from North Central Assembly and Rakesh Singh from West Assembly. Earlier, he campaigned for BJP candidates in Sihora and Panagar Assembly in the afternoon.
 
The CM, after conducting roadshow in Cantt Assembly addressed a workers’ meet in Manas Bhawan under North Central Assembly. Thereafter, he addressed a public meeting in favour of East Assembly candidate at Ghamapur chowk. Afterward, the Chief Minister addressed another public meeting in favour of West Assembly candidate, Rakesh Sigh near Gupteshwar temple. During campaigning and public meetings, he urged people to vote in favour of party candidates and strengthen BJP to form Government again in Madhya Pradesh. He said being Chief Minister he has left no stone unturned to provide all possible benefits to people of all sections of the society, especially poor and needy.
He said the State Government with due support of Central Government is running a number of schemes for welfare of poor people.
 
It is providing all kind of assistance to poor, farmers, labourers, youths, women and girl child. Chouhan said the BJP is vowed to continue series of development in the State. Therefore, he appealed to people to give their blessings and support to party candidates in winning the Assembly elections. The Chief Minister also launched a scathing attack on Congress leaders for misleading public through their alleged baseless allegations and fake promises. He expressed hope that BJP will again form government in the State with the blessings of people.
