PRIME Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday attacked Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel over the alleged ‘Mahadev’ betting app scam, and said the Congress leader should tell what links he has with the accused in the case. “The Congress Government and the Chief Minister should tell the people of Chhattisgarh what link they have with the accused in this scam sitting in Dubai,” he said. In a massive election rally in Durg, Prime Minister Narendra Modi targeted the Bhupesh-led Congress Government.
 
The Prime Minister assured the gathering that action would be taken against those involved in alleged corruption, pledging to hold them accountable for their actions. PM Modi unveiled a new slogan, “Tees taka kakka, Aapka kaam pakka,” accusing the State Government of taking a “30% commission” on various projects. He criticized the Congress for prioritizing self-enrichment through corruption and nepotism, highlighting instances like the PSC scam, where Congress allegedly favored its own over deserving candidates. The Prime Minister commended the people of Chhattisgarh for their support and revealed the BJP’s manifesto, emphasizing its focus on women, youth, and farmers. He stated, “The BJP has a consistent track record of delivering on its promises.”
 
In a significant announcement, PM Modi extended the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, providing free rations to the underprivileged for the next five years. He ensured that under the BJP government, free ration distribution would continue across the nation with the implementation of the ‘One Nation, One Ration Card’ scheme. PM Modi also raised questions about a significant amount of money discovered in Raipur, hinting at its alleged link to the Congress election campaign and the Chief Minister’s possible involvement. He criticised the Congress for engaging in caste-based politics and accused them of attacking the OBC community, emphasising the need for accountability. As per the schedule, Prime Minister Narendra Modi landed in the helipad of Jayanti Stadium Bhilai by a special helicopter. After that he reached the venue by road from Jayanti Stadium and attended the election meeting. Apart from BJP candidates from 13 assembly constituencies, thousands of workers attended Modi’s meeting.
 
BJP has claimed that around 1 lakh people attended Modi’s meeting as thousands of them were debarred to enter the stadium due to heavy rush. Thousands of people waited outside the venue to listen the Prime Minister. Before the address of PM Modi BJP State President Arun Sao, Durg division in-charge Bhupendra Sawanni, BJP National Vice President Dr Raman Singh, BJP National General Secretary Dr Saroj Pandey, MP (Rajnandgaon) Santosh Pandey, Union Minister Ramdas Athawale, MP and Patan assembly constituency candidate Vijay Baghel, former state Minister and Bhilai Nagar constituency candidate Prem Prakash Pandey along with candidates of other assembly constituencies also addressed the public meeting.
