BHONSALA Military School, Nagpur celebrated its ‘Founder’s Day’, which is the 151st birth anniversary of their founding father Dr Balkrushna Shivram Moonje on December 12, 2023 with great zeal and traditional gusto. The ‘Founder’s Day’ was simultaneously celebrated at Nagpur, Nashik and New Delhi. The celebrations in Nagpur began by offering floral tributes at the statue of Dr B S Moonje located at ‘Dr Munje Chowk’at Sitabuldi. The floral tribute was offered by Col Amarendra Hardas, Commandant, Ajay Shirke, Head Master and Sub Maj (Honorary Captain) Chand Mohammad, Chief Training Officer of the school.

 

The entire ‘Dr Munje Chowk’ was cleaned and decked up by the cadets who were ably assisted NMC staff. The floral tribute was followed by an impressive ‘Guard of Honour’ by the smartly turned-out armed contingent of cadets and the school band and buglers in their ceremonial liveries.
