Me and my relationship with ‘The Hitavada’ is some 40 year old. When my father was transferred to Nagpur, the second thing after settling down was getting the most loved english daily ‘The Hitavada’. With time and tides, it kept on evolving. Its look, its coverage, its presentations were so much like a close friend. It kept growing with me. The gradual growing process was glowing too, due to new dimensions joining new ideas also were adopted. Soon there was addition of TwinkleStar Magazine, CityLine and Sunday Insight. All these were like cherry on the cake. We all enjoyed it with every sip of tea early morning. It is an inseparable part of our routine.

And now a very unique, innovative and creative new avatar. It is catchy, colourful and beautiful. It helps us to focus
on the most important to the least with the arrangement and placement of the news and content. I could never imagine it can be so beautifully done. When anything becomes mundane or monotonous, it also becomes convenient. We get conditioned to the same style. But, this change has made me looking at it differently. First day, I was a bit upset, then I told myself with everything changing around us, why can’t I welcome this and look at it with a positive perspective. This change made the new set of neurons to look at it and understand it better. We, the humans, do not accept any change easily and happily.

I really want to appreciate ‘The Hitavada’ team and the Editor for this complete transformation of my favourite English Daily. I am enjoying the way the layouts are put up, creatively and selectively. All the changes are first bitter then they make us better. I am happy as it is now looking more stylish and smart. New fashion will set a new tradition. Something that is going to be permanent is the change. So, delighted to see this make over, over the years. A very inventive move. Congratulations to the team, thank you so much....I am loving it!
