Madhya Pradesh High Court Bar Association (MPHCBA), Jabalpur on Wednesday, felicitated Supreme Court Justice Satish Chandra Sharma in a grand ceremony held at the Silver Jubilee Hall. The entire function, conducted with enthusiasm and precision, was orchestrated by the energetic Secretary Paritosh Trivedi. The event witnessed the presence of Administrative Judge, Justice Sheel Nagu and distinguished members of the legal fraternity. Justice Satish Chandra Sharma, who began his journey in Jabalpur, was welcomed with great reverence. The felicitation ceremony was graced by Sanjay Verma, President of the High Court Bar Association and attended by Advocate General Prashant Singh, Senior Advocate Anil Khare and Assistant Solicitor General Pushpendra Yadav among others.
The welcome speech by President Sanjay Verma, along with insights into the illustrious career of Justice Sharma, highlighted his journey from being a member of the Bar Association to reaching the pinnacle as a Supreme Court judge. Advocate Raman Patel, in his address, shared personal anecdotes about the esteemed jurist’s family, paying heartfelt respects to Justice Satish Chandra Sharma’s parents. The event was marked by an emotionally charged speech by Justice Satish Sharma, who acknowledged the pivotal role played by the Bar Association members in his journey. The entire Bar Association, as a gesture of deep admiration and respect, gave a standing ovation to Justice Satish Chandra Sharma.
The program was attended by a large gathering, demonstrating the overwhelming support and affection of the members of the High Court Bar Association for Justice Satish Chandra Sharma.
