IN A tough battle Anand Rai and his partner Abhishek Thakur registered victory over Jaidev Menon and Mihir Shah in the ongoing Gondwana Club Raisaheb Madhavlal Tulsidas Parikh Memorial Handicap Snicket Tournament at Club’s snooker hall on Friday.

 

The winner took the first frame with score reading 119-97. In the second frame, Menon-Shah pair tried to make a comeback by giving a tough fight but could only score 80 thus losing the frame 87-80. In another match, Suraj Dewani and Chaitanya Jain recorded win over Manoj Jain and Prachat Agrawal. Dewani-Jain started well to take the first frame 84-32. They continued their fine form in the second frame and won it 91-33 and eventually match.
