RAHUL Sankrutyayan Sports Association thrashed Manganese Ore India Limited (MOIL) XI 4-1 to stay close to qualifying for Super Four in the ongoing JSW Elite Division League organised by Nagpur District Football Association at its Dr Ambedkar Football Stadium in Suyog Nagar on Friday. In their penultimate round match, Rahul drubbed MOIL to earn three valuable points and are now at third spot with 15 points, one less than second placed South East Central Railway (SECR).

 

The 10-team table is led by Young Muslim Football Club who have 21 points. Rahul Club scored three goals in second half after Yash Shukla gave them the opening (40th) in the first session. In the second half, Valarien Paul (65th), Stanley Peter (75th) and Badal Soren (89th) were on target for Rahul after MOILs Rohit Kathute (59th) had scored the leveller after the lemon break.
