Total four to five miscreants targeted CAPRI Gold Loan Bank on Wednesday afternoon in Gadarwara, main business area of the district. Unidentified people looted about Rs 4.5 lakh cash and three mobiles poiting weapons and fled in a white car. This loan bank is about half a kilometer away from the police station. At the time when this incident took place, two officers, including two officers, a security guard without arms and four-five other people werepresent in the bank.
As soon as the news of the incident came, police started investigating the spot and started a siege to catch the robbers. Everywhere police team is trying to find white coloured car. Branch Sales Manager of the Bank Rohit Patel said that the bank’s operations manager Durgesh Patel and senior loan officer were having lunch when the incident took place.
Security guard outside was Nepal Singh. Then one by one the robbers came threatening the security guard and took the keys of cash from officials.
After this, their mobiles were snatched and about Rs 4.5 lakh were taken out. He asked to open the locker in which the jewelery was kept. Then Sachin Jain told him that the one who has its key is outside and it is based on online system and you snatched the mobile so it cannot open. After this, the robbers also had a scuffle with the employees.
Gadarwara Police Station In-charge said that the spot has been investigated. In the information so far, about Rs 3,52,000 and three mobile phones have been looted. CCTV cameras are being examined. The routes leading out of the city are being checked and police have been deployed at various places. Giving information about the incident in nearby police stations and outposts, instructions have been given to keep an eye on anti-social elements. The footage of the bank and nearby CCTV cameras are being searched regarding the incident. The robbers fled from the car without number - According to eyewitnesses, it is being told that the robbers came in a white coloured I20 car without number plate, which they had kept standing at some distance from the bank. Boarding in it, they fled towards Amgaon Naka.
Regarding the robbers, it is said that one person was wearing a mask and the remaining persons were without their faces covered. Bank employees told that on Tuesday at around 4 pm, a person came to them who had taken information about pledging the gold bracelet. That person was also involved in the robbery that took place on Wednesday.
