Arneja Heart and Multispecialty Hospital conducted ‘Nagpur Live 2023’ conference on February 11 and 1. The conference was in its 6th edition and was attended by more than 120 cardiologists and more than 250 physicians over the period of two days.
Dr Jaspal Arneja, Director Arneja Heart Hospital, and the brain behind the annual event made sure that eminent national faculty from India including Dr A B Mehta (Jaslok Hospital, Mumbai), Dr Praveen Chandra (Medanta Hospital, Delhi), Dr V T Shah (Mumbai), Dr P Manokar (Chennai), Dr S N Boopathy (Chennai) and international faculty Dr Abhishek Deshmukh (MAYO Clinic USA) physically attended the conference and enthralled the delegates attending the conference.
Dr Arneja informed us that, “Arneja heart hospital has been pioneer in bringing new world class technologies in central India and has many first’s to its name including First TAVR, First Impella, First IVUS (Intravascular Ultrasound) and OCT (Optimal coherent tomography) machine used for imaging of blood vessels, Left Main Angioplasty .etc. All these modalities and technical skills have made sure that people gained confidence in doctors of Nagpur and the drainage of patients to metros for treatment has stopped completely and Nagpur has become a hub of medical care.”
Dr Amar Amale, Senior interventional cardiologist Arneja heart hospital further added that, “Performing a live procedure on a patient in-front of entire medical fraternity needs skills and confidence.” Dr Vivek Mandurke, Senior Interventional cardiologist informed us that, “In cardiology, every 6 months there are technological advances.” Dr Amar Amale spoke about the Sundays Nagpur Walkathon.
