THE Delhi Public School, Kamptee Road, Nagpur organised Annual Sports Day for students of nursery to keep them interested in sports and make it a positive experience for them.

The students looked smart in their sports costumes. The sporting extravaganza commenced with a variety of races like hoola hoop race, peppa pig race, chhota bheem race and fairy race. A spectacular rainbow drill was presented by the students that left the audience spellbound. The parents cheered as the students competed with their peers. The parents also participated in tug of war and musical chair. DPS focus on having fun and being active, rather than winning or losing. The young achievers were awarded medals and certificates by Principal Ritu Sharma.

The event started by welcoming esteemed dignitaries and parents by the principal. In her welcome address, she emphasised the importance of sports in a student’s life and appreciated the students for their enthusiastic participation in the event.
