Bhopal Railway announces 16 Holi specials

 

 

In order to cope up with the extra pressure of passengers in long distance train, Bhopal Railway has introduced 16 Holi special trains under the Bhopal Division. These special trains will be departing from Rani Kamalapati, Bhopal, Itarsi, Guna, Shivpuri, Bina, Hoshangabad, Vidisha stations and taking more than 46 trips. Railways has announced Rani Kamalapati-Rewa Holi special, Virangana Lakshmibai-Bandra Holi special, Rani Kamalapati- Danapur-Rani Kamalapati Holi special, Okha-Naharlagoon Holi special and Kota-Danapur Holi special trains.

Bhopal Railway PRO Subedar Singh said that festivals are round the corner and rush in long distance trains can be easily seen. Concerned over the pressure of passengers in trains, Bhopal Railway has started special trains on various routes. Besides, additional coaches have been attached in many trains to increase the berth intake. As everyone want to go their home town during festival of Holi, berth in AC as well as sleeper coaches are pre-booked. Even people have booked their returning ticket as well that created the situation of no room in many trains. Specially in sleeper coaches, reservation status is regret while in AC-III large waiting is being displayed. There are Tatkal quota tickets available in few trains but that is too for AC-II. People who have not booked their tickets in advance are unable to get a berth at eleventh hour. Now, these people are totally dependent on special trains and additional coaches. According to Railway officials, Rani Kamalapati- Danapur-Rani Kamalapati train will be taking two-two trips in both directions from March 5. The train will be taking halt at Narmadapuram, Itarsi, Piparia, Narsinghpur, Jabalpur, Sehore Road, Katni, Maihar and Satna station. Besides, railway has extended the running trip of Dadar-Gorakhpur-Dadar Express.
