Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the Mukhya Mantri Jan Seva Abhiyan is an effective step towards expansion of good governance in the state. By connecting eligible beneficiaries with various public welfare schemes and programmes, the lives of the needy people will be uplifted and the welfare initiatives of the government will also expand. On the occasion of Sant Ravidas Jayanti, programme to be held in Bhind on February 5, acceptance letters and benefits will be distributed to the beneficiaries of Chambal division, as well as the Vikas Yatra will also be inaugurated. Public representatives and maximum number of people of Bhind, Morena and Sheopur should be included in the programme. Such programmes also become a medium of direct communication.
Chief Minister Chouhan was reviewing the preparations for the programme to be held in Bhind on February 5 on Sant Ravidas Jayanti for the disbursal of divisional-level acceptance letters, benefits under the Mukhya Mantri Jan Seva Abhiyan and the launch of the Vikas Yatra. Chouhan obtained information virtually about the ongoing preparations in Bhind from the Samatva Bhavan located in the Chief Minister’s residence complex. Co-operative Minister Arvind Singh Bhadoria and Minister of State for Urban Development and Housing OPS Bhadoria attended the meeting virtually.
It was informed that the programme will start at 12.40 pm at MJS Ground in Bhind with Kanya Pujan, lighting of lamp and garlanding the picture of Sant Ravidas. Chief Minister Chouhan will dedicate 42 construction works completed at a cost of Rs 150.98 crore and bhoomipujan will be done for 79 works to be completed at a cost of Rs 242.65 crore. Chief Minister Chouhan will also interact with the beneficiaries of Ayushman Yojana, Ladli Laxmi Yojana and other schemes. An exhibition focused on development and public welfare will be organised at the programme venue. Chief Minister Chouhan will flag off 5 Vikas Yatra Raths.
More than 95 per cent of the applications in Morena and Sheopur and more than 91 per cent of the applications in Bhind received under the Mukhya Mantri Jan-Seva Abhiyan have been given acceptance. 661 camps were Organised in Bhind, 628 in Morena and 287 in Sheopur. Out of 4.386 lakh applications received in these 1571 camps, 3,77,886 applications have been accepted. All the villages, towns and cities of Bhind, Morena and Sheopur will be connected virtually in programme.
