Focus shifts to Jamtha

AFTER a couple of days of closed door practice at VCA’s Civil Lines ground and a rest day on Sunday, India will start their practice at VCA Stadium in Jamtha from Monday.

First match of four-Test Gavaskar-Border Trophy between India and Australia will begin on February 9. According to a message received from BCCI Media Manager, Indian players will hit the nets at 9.30 am.

Meanwhile, Australia, who were training at Alur in Bengaluru, will be arriving in the city in two batches. The first one comprising 17 members would be arriving on Monday at 16.20 hrs while the second lot would be arriving on Tuesday at 8 am, informed a VCA source. Nagpur’s last Test was against Sri Lanka in November 2017.
