Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) is conducting its high school examination (X) from March 1. The exam will be held at 3,800 centers across the State, including 104 centers in Bhopal. Class X exam will be held till March 27. Besides, final exam for higher secondary classes (XII) will begin on March 2 and conclude by March 28. This year board has decided to distribute 32 pages of answer sheet instead of 20 pages. Examinees would not get supplementary copies this year. MPBSE PRO Mukesh Kumar Malviya informed that examinees have to complete their exam in 32 pages only.
The board has changed safety parameters of exam copies for four subjects in class X and XII exams. This year, board is using bar code to enhance the safety level instead of conventional stickers in answer sheets. Examinees will be asked to fill the OMR sheet attached in answer sheet with blue or black ball pen. A detail guideline for the same has been released by the MPBSE.
This year around 19 lakh students will be appearing the exam. Earlier, board was using stickers to keep the roll no confidential. This year board is set to use bar code in science, social science, Math and class XII first language Hindi copies. Besides, in other subjects, conventional sticker process will be used. Officials informed that board examinees write their roll number of first page of answer sheet. After submitting the copy, officials use stickers to keep the roll no safe. While checking the copy at center, concern evaluator pick out the sticker. After using sticker, no one can check the copy of particular student at any center or evaluator.
There will be four sets of question papers with same pattern. However, sequence of question will remain changed in each set. The Board has also assigned flying squad team and CCTV camera will be place at sensitive centers. A control room will be set up to monitor the exam centers. Admit cards of examinees has been uploaded on portal. School principals are directed to download the admit card of students and provide it with seal and signature.
