Sejal wins national title

 

 

CITY’S growing tennis star Sejal Bhutada has won the AITA Under-18 National Series Tennis Tournament’s girls doubles title. The tournament was hosted by Sania Mirza Tennis Academy, Hyderabad under the auspices of AITA.

In the doubles category, Sejal and S Reddy Anugonda beat Aakruti Sonkusre and Mandagalla 6-2, 6-1 in the all important summit clash.

Sejal continued her winning streak in 2023 with a number of tournaments played across India. Sejal has been a regular at MSLTA Tennis Academy and her coaches Vishal Landge and team have expressed their happiness with her progress. Nagpur District Hardcourt Tennis Association (NDHTA) Secretary Dr Sudhir Bhiwapurkar complimented Sejal on her performance and Sunder Iyer from MSLTA-AITA has wished her the best in future tournaments.
