The Institute Of Cost Accountants of India, Nagpur Chapter, recently conducted whole day annual seminar at Hotel Centre Point on the theme of “MSME-CITADEL of Indian Economy” and also celebrated its Golden Jubilee Year. At the outset, CMA Anil Verma, Chairman of Nagpur Chapter, welcomed the guests in his opening remarks.

The seminar was inaugurated at the hands of the Ajit Kumar Saxena, Chairman and Managing Director of MOIL Ltd. H was the chief guest of the function while guest of honour was P M Parlewar, Director MSME, Kirit Joshi, Director, Spacewood Furnishers Pvt. Ltd., Ghanshyam Sharma, Chairman and Managing Director of MECL, Rakesh Tumane, Director (Finance) in MOIL Ltd. and CMA M K Baluka, CFO MOIL. CMA P V Bhattad, Past President, CMA Shriram Mahankaliwar, Chairman WIRC, CMA Anil B Verma,, Chairman, Nagpur Chapter, CMA S Rajat Naidu, Secretary, and CMA V V S Murty P D Chairman were also present on the occasion.

During the inaugural function all the dignitaries highlighted the importance of “MSME Sector ” as MSME forms more than 50 per cent towards economic growth of the country. The Government needs to come up to support the growth of MSME sector to achieve USD 5 trillion Indian economy mark. Apart from this, a souvenir - “Knowledge Pack” containing articles on MSME sector was released at the hands of Ajit Kumar Saxena, CMD, MOIL Ltd. and other dignitaries.

On the occasion of Golden Jubilee Year celebration, the Nagpur Chapter also accorded grand felicitation of past chairmen of the Chapter for their valuable contributions and efforts for the growth of institute and the legacy is carried forward and continuing smoothly and will continue to excel further. The day long seminar also witnessed three technical sessions which included galaxy of learned speakers who made vivid deliberations on wide rage of topics.
