The Nagpur chapter of CII Young Indians (Yi) was launched here in the city on Saturday. Former Rajya Sabha Member Ajay Sancheti was the chief guest of the function while Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar; Chief of Operations in Persistent Sameer Bendre; Chairman, CII Vidarbha Zone Dr Kishore Malviya; National Chairman, CII Young Indians Dilip Krishna; Chair - Yi Western Region, CII Young Indians Monil Parikh; and other officials from Yi were among the prominent persons present on the occasion. Chairman, CII Maharashtra State Sriram Narayanan addressed the gathering virtually.

Ayush Gandhi will lead the Nagpur chapter. Yi is an integral part of the Confederation of Indian Industry was formed in the year 2002 with an agenda of creating a platform for Young Indians to realise the dream of the developed nation. Yi Nagpur Chapter is the 5th chapter of Yi in Maharashtra, the 13th chapter in the Western Region and the 59th chapter across India.

Young Indians (Yi) is a movement for Indian youth to converge, lead, co-create and influence India’s future. It builds empowering avenues for the nation and its young minds through various youth development and leadership programs.

It is an integral part of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), a non-profit, not-for-profit, industry-led, industry-managed organisation that plays an active role in India’s development process.
