New Market, the most prominent market of state capital, will be developed on the lines of Indore’s famous ‘56 Dukaan’. For this the foot traffic for customers will be eased, so that they can make shopping easily. At the same time, the glory of the Taj Mahal in the State capital will return again, but before that adequate parking arrangements will be made here, so that the historical heritage situated amidst the dense population does not become the cause of the problem. Apart from this, every possible effort will be made to organise the city. At the same time, the works of the ongoing projects will be completed within the stipulated time. In fact, Collector Asheesh Singh has given these instructions to the concerned officials including the local TT Nagar SDM Sanjay Srivastava.
The main and biggest problem of New Market is the encroachment here. Here in front of the shops, people illegally occupy and collect their shops, do not leave space till the footpath. Due to this, there is a problem for the traders in doing their business, as well as the customers do not get space to walk and come to the shop. At the same time, no action is taken continuously by the municipal corporation. Due to this problem always persists. On this the Collector said that soon the encroachment would be removed and the New Market would be developed like the ‘56 Dukaan’ in Indore. The collector also inspected Bairagarh circle. During this, Bairagarh SDM Manoj Upadhyay was present with him. During this he reached the Taj Mahal and saw the renovation being done there and asked to complete it soon. He also said that adequate parking should be arranged at the Taj Mahal so that it does not become a problem for the people. Apart from this, he visited Lalghati, Civil Hospital, Bairagarh, Chirayu Astpal, Maidan Jalsa, Three EME Center, Ayyappa Temple, Data Colony, Airport Road, Aerocity BDA Project, Abbas Nagar, Asaram Tiraha, RGPV, IT Park, New Jail, Karond Chauraha, West Visited Prize, Karond Mandi, DIG Square, Bhopal Talkies, Pari Bazar, Idgah Hills, Cancer-TB Hospital, VIP Guest House, Gufa Mandir, Military Establishment and Manuabhan Tekri.
Collector Ashish Singh said, it is very important to understand it for better development of the city. For this I visited several areas of Bairagarh and TT Nagar circle with officials during which instructions have been given for better work and parking arrangements in Taj Mahal. At the same time, on the demand of the shopkeepers in TT Nagar, staff of civic body will be directed to remove encroachments in-front of the shops and from the footpath.
