Aditi Sharma, hailing from the capital city of Raipur has become a sensation after being the first from Chhattisgarh to finish among top 7 in the eminent and popular Femina Miss India 2023. It is a proud moment for State as Aditi becomes the first lady to enter the top 7 finalists of the prestigious beauty pageant.
Sharing her achievement, Aditi Sharma said, “Chhattisgarh has become a brand now with her achievement. People from other states are curious about the culture of the state and her representation as well as achievement has increased the curiosity further and want to explore and know more about the beautiful state. Thanks to the State Government for giving subsidies to the filmmakers which will also create opportunities for growth of all segments from production, direction, artist to the final stage of the feature film in State.” She hailed the efforts Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and his government in helping her in achieving her dream. Aditi further announced that she will be next seen working with Bollywood superstars Hrithik Roshan and Dipika Padukone in their upcoming film ‘Fighter’. She is to star in ‘Kho Gaye Hum Kahan’, a film by famous Bollywood filmmaker Zoya Akhtar.
Miss India fame Aditi has tons of endorsement lined-up with some of India’s biggest brands like Cadbury, Tanishka, Dominos and Samsung among others. Being a daughter to a single mother Sandhya Sharma, she never got anything easy in life. Aditi and her elder sister are lawyers but she chose to represent her state in the Femina Miss India. Aditi strongly advocates bringing positive changes in society. On the question, ‘What is the one law she will change?’, she said she would be criminalising ‘marital rape’.
