NTPC gives financial aid to eye care unit under CSR

 

 

 

NTPC under its CSR policy provided financial aid to NGO Swami Vivekanand Bahuudeshiya Sewa Sanstha, Nagpur for setting up of an eye care unit in presence of Union Minister Nitin Gadkari on Sunday. A K Manohar, Head of Project (NTPC Mouda), handed over the cheque to the Union Minister. The eye care unit shall provide free diagnosis, medications and treatment for ailments related to the eye to underprivileged people in and around Nagpur who will benefit from this initiative. NTPC’s CSR policies aim to uplift and enable the society by providing substantial support in order to empower the people on sustainable basis.

NTPC Mouda has taken steps in various areas like sanitation, healthcare, girl child and women empowerment, education for introducing new and better facilities for the Project Affected Persons (PAPs) and other beneficiaries.
