CM Chouhan announces Brahmin Welfare Board

On Saturday morning, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan attended Akshayotsav 2023 programme organised on Parshuram Jayanti held at Gufa Mandir. On this occasion, Chouhan welcomed Bageshwar Dham’s Dhirendra Shastri where a large crowd gathered that there was no place to even set foot. Devotees reached from nearby districts to listen to Pt Dhirendra Krishna Shastri. During the programme, CM Chouhan announced about forming a Brahmin Welfare Board, along with Rs 5,000 to the priests, give allowance and to build a new building in the temple. The Government will not conduct any activity of the temples. Collectors will not auction the land but only the priests will be able to auction them.
He said that the recruitment of Sanskrit teachers has been started in Government schools. A total of 3,547 Sanskrit teachers have been recruited in Government schools of the State. An initiative has been taken to give allowance of Rs 5,000 per month to the priests of the temples of the State and scholarship to the ritual children studying Sanskrit. “The life of Lord Parshuram was included in the eighth class book, we will not only teach Akbar, but also teach Lord Ram, and Bhagwan Parshuram.” He said that Lord Parshuramji is known as the god of justice. He had raised the axe to destroy the demons. Due to his inspiration, goons, miscreants, Naxalites are not well on the land of Madhya Pradesh. The State Government is running the campaign with full force. Pt Dhirendra Krishna Shastri of Bageshwar Dham said that both religion and scriptures are needed. We have not come here to preach, we have come to see the people of Bhopal. Will do Katha in Bhopal soon. If Balaji blesses us, then India will be a Hindu nation. The nexus of casteism has to be broken and we all have to unite. On this occasion, Alok Sharma, Rambabu Sharma and Rakesh Chaturvedi of Bhagwan Parshuram Prakatotsav Samaroh Samiti said that a large number of women took out the Kalash Yatra from Lalghati Crossroads. Artists of Shiv Bhakta Mandal Ujjain presented a cultural programme and swastik reading, shankhnaad, bhajan-kirtan and mahaarti were performed by 551 Brahmins on the stage in the temple premises. A member of the organising committee Chandrashekhar Tiwari said that a special seat was decorated for Pt Dhirendra Krishna Shastri and Mahant Rampravesh Das Ji Maharaj on the stage. Pt Shastri also blessed the devotees on this occasion. Medical Education Minister Vishwas Sarang, MLA Rameshwar Sharma, Mayor Malti Rai, former Mayor Alok Sharma were also present on the stage. Former Mayor Sharma welcomed all the saints and people’s representatives. Pandit Shastri thanked the entire society for their co-operation in the programme.
