Cement concrete road will be construction from three places is underway on Kolar 6-lane Project of Bhopal so that, one lane can be completed in two months. The work of the second lane will also be completed by November this year.
District Collector Asheesh Singh inspected Kolar Rest House Tiraha to Gol Jod intersection on Thursday. He also asked the officials to remove encroachments.
A 32 meter road is to be constructed from Kolar Rest House Tirahe to Gol Jod. Collector Singh said that if land is required for this also, Kolar SDM should take action to remove the encroachment by putting a red mark on the government land. If private land is coming within 32 meters radius, the municipal commissioner should discuss the proposal of giving additional FAR and TDR to the land owner and provide space for the construction of six roads.
Collector Singh instructed the PWD officer and the contractor to complete the construction of 15 km six road before November. For this, work should be started at three places from one side. So that the work of one side road can be completed in two months. After the construction of one road, the construction work of the other side road should start and the traffic should not be blocked. The speed of road construction should be increased and SDM should take immediate action to remove the encroachment. Municipal Commissioner KVS Chaudhary Kolsani, SDMs Sanjay Srivastava and Kshitij Sharma, PWD Engineer Avinesh and other officers were also present.
