Taneira, the Indian ethnic-wear brand from the house of TATA, has expanded its footprint in Maharashtra with the launch of its first store in the city and fifth in the State.
The store located on Kingsway, Station Road, was inaugurated by Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways; Anirban Banerjee, Retail Head, Taneira, and Niraj Bhakare, Regional Business Head, West, Titan.
With an ambience that exudes refinement and elegance, the store offers a seamless fusion of classic and contemporary ensembles.
 
In essence, Taneira Nagpur presents a unique blend of tradition and modernity, harmoniously entwined in its carefully designed and curated collections, promising a shopping experience that is both captivating and unforgettable. The store delivers on the promise of India under one roof through an assortment of regional signatures such as Paithanis and Maheshwaris and iconic weaves such as Kanjeevarams, Banarasis, South silks, Chanderis, Ikkats, Patola, Jamdanis and Tussars including revival designs.
 
Speaking at the launch, Gadkari said, “I am delighted to launch Taneira’s first store in Nagpur and congratulate them on their work with weavers across the country. It is heartening to see Taneira, a Tata brand take the lead in promoting our rich textile heritage and empower local artisans.” Anirban Banerjee said, “We bring to Nagpur, a hand-picked selection of the finest handmade weaves and the splendour of India's bountiful textile tradition in all its glory”. To celebrate the launch, Taneira is offering an inaugural ‘Gold Coin Offer’ from April 29 to May 3, wherein customers can avail a 0.2-gram Tanishq gold coin on shopping worth Rs 20,000.
