Kamwani-Kothari pair beats Bapuna-Khetrapal for snicket title

Raju Kamwani and Ujjwal Kothari showed tremendous skills and temperament as they went on to clinch the Central Provinces Club’s late Advocate MK Naidu Snicket Tournament, sponsored by advocate Prakash Naidu.
In an exciting final, which went to the wire, Kamwani and Kothari pair defeated much fancied Jamashp Bapuna and Akshay Khetrapal duo 3-2 in front of a sizeable crowd. Kamwani-Kothari started cautiously and won the first frame 50-46. In the second frame, Khetarpal potted all the 10 Red balls in a single break as Bapuna and Khetrapal took it 34-30. They went on to win the third frame as well with an 84-53 margin.
However, Kothari-Kamwani bounced back to take the fourth frame 92-55. In the final frame, Bapuna-Khetrapal managed 65 whereas Kamwani-Kothari pair dominated as Kothari scored a single break of 106 and another break of 56 while Kamwani scored a break of 59. They won the decider with a whopping 316 points.
Pankaj Chokhani, President Gondwana Club, Girish Dewani, Naresh Jaisinghani Secretary CP Club, Parheez Gimi, Tournament Director, Brajesh Khemka, Ashok Daga, Anand Rai, Kunal Shukul, Sandeep Jain, Ajay Sharma, Rahul Sharma and others were present during the prize distribution funciton.
